The Longest TItle On TV June 8, 2008

Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search For the Next Elle Woods is seriously the longest title on TV right now.

Basically, the Legally Blonde creative team is searching for the Next Elle Woods to replace Laura Bell Bundy in the Broadway Show. Now I am not at liberty to say what they were on when they thought this would be a good idea, but seriously WHAT WERE THEY ON? While Ken Davenport would say that reality tv shows are great publicity for the show, I would argue that people won’t want to come see a show if the Lead stinks. 

Did we not learn from Grease: You’re The One That I Want? Look at what is happening to the show. It might have made a bit of extra money in the beginning, but boy is it getting bad reviews. Everyone I know who saw it said it was not a good show.

I LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Legally Blonde the Musical. Seriously I really love this show. It’s a great show. Sooo much fun! However, if they ruin this, I will cry. seriously Cry.

I like watching the show. I like Paul Canaan because he’s funny. I like the judges too and when they have guests from the musical. I feel like it’s almost behind the scenes. I’m interested to see who wins, but I’m not promising I’ll like her.

Here is a quote this week from Paul: “I’m a broadway bitch in the shoes. So be flawless, be pink, be Elle.” I hope to have another for you next week. I DVR the show because I can’t watch it monday nights.
